PLT Operations Engineer (m/f/d) as Responsible Electrical Specialist (vEfk) 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• You are responsible for the smooth operation of electrical engineering in your area and take on the role of the Responsible Electrical Specialist (vEfk) according to DIN VDE 1000-10.
• You ensure compliance with internal and external regulations in the field of electrical engineering.
• You analyze and evaluate electrical hazards and the associated protective measures.
• You are responsible for planning and carrying out all electrical maintenance and repair work.
• You identify and assess deficiencies and ensure a continuous improvement process.
• As a project manager, you are responsible for the successful execution of operational projects in the field of electrical engineering.
• You are the direct contact person for process engineering operations engineers and electrical or PLT technicians/craftspeople.
• You coordinate the interface with internal and external service providers.
• You actively support the exchange of experiences and the further development of the site in all relevant technical topics.

WHAT YOU BRING

• You have completed a (university) degree in electrical engineering/automation technology or are a certified technician (m/f/d) or possess a comparable qualification.
• You have many years of planning experience as well as operational experience in electrical engineering/power supply for process plants in the chemical industry.
• Experience in leading planning teams for process plants in the chemical industry is preferred.
• You have knowledge of device technology as well as expertise in relevant (protection and safety) standards, norms, and legal requirements.
• Strong technical and economic competence.
• Familiarity with electrical explosion protection and functional safety is desirable.
• Knowledge in the application of engineering/maintenance tools and software.
