As the Phytosanitary Specialist your main purpose is to ensure a flawless and error proof phyto process to ensure first time right shipments to our end customers and Bayer entities. You ensure to coordinate and monitor training and full preparation of at least two people as full back up for your role, to manage the risks (Covid -19, urgencies, unplanned absences, vacation time).
This position will be based in Enkhuizen.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the first time-right creation of phytosanitary documents based on Dutch export and country of destination requirements.
- Point of contact of NvwA officials and for all internal questions
- Keep yourself informed on all internal and external country requirements in a pro-active way
- You provide input for functional meetings
- Liaise with covering authorities e.g. Plantum, NvwA
- Keep all internal and external stakeholders involved and up to date
- Train phytosanitary coordinators on the country specific requirements and phyto creation
- Seeking the possibilities for process and cost optimization to ensure efficient and lean process (automation is key)
- Ensures that country specific requirements are maintained properly within work instructions and procedures
- Up to date manual for Phyto creation
- Participation in projects, cross functional
WHO YOU ARE
We are seeking for a professional who possesses the following qualifications:
- Bachelor (HBO) or equivalent
- At least 3 years’ experience with previous experience in Phyto and Microsoft Excel
- You have previous experience with Sales Order Processing Systems and you are familiar with SAP (key user level)
- You have good knowledge in Foreign trade, E-CERT and STRATECH
- Certificate of Good Conduct (VGB)
- Demonstrated success working in multinational environment.
- Strong communication skills in English and Dutch
