Data Analytics Senior Expert 

 

Main Purpose:

 

The Finance Senior Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the Analytics & Automation Work Leads in Finance. This position is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of innovative analytical and automation solutions tailored specifically for Finance. This role involves leading the functional aspects of these solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimizing processes for efficiency and accuracy.

 

Key Tasks & Responsibilites:

 

  • Support Functional Leadership: Assist the Work Lead in providing functional guidance and leadership to the team, contributing to the development and implementation of solutions that meet the specific needs of Management Accounting and Controlling Services.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Support: Help ensure that all solutions comply with relevant regulatory requirements and accounting standards. Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards to support ongoing compliance efforts.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within financial accounting and tax operations. Contribute to initiatives aimed at streamlining processes and enhancing accuracy and reliability.
  • Resource Coordination: Collaborate with the Work Lead to assist in assigning functional resources to various projects and squads, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
  • Project Support: Aid in overseeing the functional execution of projects, ensuring that solutions are developed according to best practices and meet required quality standards.
  • Provide functional support and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of solutions with business needs.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in mentoring and developing functional talent within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Identify personal skill gaps and pursue opportunities for upskilling and professional growth.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist in establishing and maintaining quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and compliance of financial accounting and tax solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to understand their functional requirements and challenges.
  • Provide support in delivering functional expertise and recommendations to address business needs.
  • Innovation Contribution: Contribute to a culture of innovation within the team, exploring new methodologies and approaches to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Management Accounting and Controlling Services solutions.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

 

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting, tax projects, or related fields, with a strong background in analytics and automation.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of analytics and automation technologies & programming languages (SQL & Python), including data analytics platforms, machine learning, robotic process automation (RPA), and related tools and frameworks.
  • Functional Knowledge: Understanding of Management Accounting and Controlling Services processes, including regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement strategies that align with business goals.
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and with stakeholders.
  • Team Support: Ability to assist in leading and mentoring team members, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Project Management: Basic project management skills, with the ability to support multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to engage with stakeholders, understand their functional requirements, and provide support and recommendations.
