Data Migration Specialist 

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration and Mapping Coordinator to lead data migration activities as part of the CORE S/4 HANA Transformation project. You will focus on ensuring accurate, efficient, and seamless data mapping, validation, cleansing, and coordination with value stream teams, aligning with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with SAP processes, modules, data structures, mapping, cleansing, and cross-functional team collaboration.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute data scope within Value Streams (S2P, R2D, A2R, Quality, SCM, Sustainability, PDM);
• Coordinate and support data migration processes from preparation to handover;
• Plan and execute data mapping workshops from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA;
• Verify extraction criteria and ensure compliance with migration approach;
• Drive data requirements and ensure quality and integrity;
• Establish data quality criteria and oversee data cleansing;
• Coordinate data validation activities with Bayer and partners;
• Perform sanity checks in the target system;
• Collaborate with teams to understand data requirements;
• Track progress and resolve roadblocks;
• Provide updates to leadership on data mapping;
• Document mapping rules and ensure compliance;
• Identify migration risks and develop strategies.

WHO YOU ARE:

• 8+ years of experience with 4+ years in SAP data migration projects, focusing on S/4HANA;
• SAP Functional knowledge of modules (FI/CO, MM, QM, MFG, PP, MDM, SD, EWM, TM);
• Familiarity with data migration tools and methodologies;
• Understanding of business processes across value streams;
• Proficiency in SAP ECC and S4HANA;
• Expertise in data mapping, validation, and transformation for S4HANA;
• Experience in creating DMS and FMD documents;
• Knowledge of SAP data structures;
• Familiar with SQL and migration tools;
• Experience in coordinating SAP data migration projects;
• Proven experience in data mapping from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA;
• Knowledge of best practices and standards in data migration;
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
