Finance Controller

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee financial operations of the Product Team, ensuring accurate, complete and timely financial reporting in line with internal and external requirements;
  • Prepare, analyze and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements to management and key stakeholders, providing clear, actionable insights through financial analysis and regular performance reviews;
  • Develop, implement and monitor budgets and forecasts, collaborating with department and product leads to align financial goals with business objectives and support strategic decision-making;
  • Support stakeholders in daily operations by resolving ad hoc issues, ensuring timeliness of activities, correctness of financials and smooth execution of end-to-end finance processes;
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, accounting standards and company policies, maintaining robust internal controls and documentation;
  • Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and recommend strategies for improvement while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability;
  • Collaborate closely with auditors and regulatory authorities as needed, preparing required documentation and explanations to support audits and reviews;
  • Drive and support digitalization initiatives in finance, including the implementation and enhancement of tools and solutions that improve transparency, efficiency and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

 

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in controlling and/or financial analysis, ideally with exposure to complex, project-based or product-oriented environments;
  • Proven experience in partnering with senior business stakeholders, including presenting data, discussing complex business cases and supporting decision-making with clear recommendations;
  • Action-oriented way of working with a strong eye for detail, ensuring high quality and accuracy of financial information;
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships in a matrix organization, working across functions, geographies and cultures;
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written;
  • Digital skills including knowledge of Power BI or similar analytics and visualization tools, with the ability to view, filter and drill down into reports and visuals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., R&D, clinical trials or related areas), or in other highly regulated, innovation-driven sectors;
  • Experience with SAP / SAP HANA or comparable ERP systems, particularly in controlling and reporting modules.
