RTR Expert in Asset Management with German 

Your tasks and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the timely and qualitative execution of Accounting Operations for Asset Management (AM) according to the defined activity split
• Responsibility for postings resulted from activities related to the whole asset’s lifecycle including e.g. asset held for sale, asset acquisition, retirement, sales with or without revenue, lease back, additions to existing assets, addition of tenant installation, adjustments, cancelled projects, mergers, divestments, etc.
• Steer, actively participate and contribute at and to Asset Management communities through global calls and other media
• Interact with key business functions (e.g. Controlling, Procurement, Product Supply, Legal, Financial Accounting etc.) to ensure proper accounting for the particular areas of operation
• Ensures operational effectiveness of the internal control system relevant to the preparation and presentation of the Financial Statements
• Contribute to global as well local projects, legal entities and system mergers, acquisitions or divestitures
• Support optimization projects and continuous improvement initiatives in order to improve quality and efficiency
• Conduct training activities
• Coordinating accounting projects and initiatives with other departments
• Identify training needs within the team

Who You Are:

• Very good knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/MSR/Ustawa o rachunkowosci)
• Basic knowledge of the principles of consolidating financial reports
• Knowledge of the "Intercompany" transaction
• Experience with Capex4IT or Finance lease as beneficial,
• Ability to become quickly familiar with  existing posting logic
• Ability to adjust posting logic if needed (e.g. after changes of regulations),
• Knowledge of SAP, AA module – as beneficial
• Very good knowledge of the life cycle of a fixed asset, the investment process, principles of activating fixed assets, transfers, sale of fixed assets, etc.
• Ability to prepare and conduct training
• Experience in cooperation with auditors
• Experience (min 5 years) in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Controlling or relevant experience & demonstrated understanding of external reporting / auditing
• Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity and usage of sound judgment in making decisions
• Motivation, communication, team work and ability to operate in a highly intercultural environment
• Very good English and German language skills.
