Senior Project Manager for SAP S/4HANA 

Position Overview

As a Senior Project Manager specializing in SAP S/4HANA implementations, you will be instrumental in driving high-quality solutions within Bayer’s Global Business Services Projects Team. Embracing VACC leadership principles, you will scale project capabilities to deliver value and advance Bayer's mission. Your deep understanding of SAP methodologies and proven track record of managing complex projects will be vital in leading strategic initiatives across multiple business lines.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the planning and implementation of programs and projects to achieve strategic targets, including budgeting and resource management;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, maintaining relationships to enhance credibility and resolve issues;
• Develop comprehensive project plans and resource allocation strategies, managing budgets and ensuring timely delivery within constraints;
• Facilitate communication among cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and proactively address project risks;
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring proactive management throughout the project lifecycle;
• Monitor project success through metrics and reporting, providing updates to senior management and stakeholders;
• Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members to foster professional growth.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent;
• 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years focused on SAP S/4HANA;
• Strong understanding of SAP modules and business processes (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing);
• Proven experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA);
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
• An outcome-oriented mindset focused on driving successful project results;
• Customer-centric approach to engage and enhance client satisfaction by co-creating solutions;
• Proven ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel;
• Fluent in English
