Tax Manager
Your future tasks:
- Be responsible for accurate and on-time tax declarations to local authorities for countries in scope
- Implement and safeguard standard & local Tax processes in local accounting organizations and SSO (within the agreed activity split and service level), incl. documentation, ICS-Controls and training material
- Actively drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with Bayer Group requirements (policies, desktop procedures, guidelines, best practices) as well as legal requirements (IFRS, IAS, fiscal)
- Actively participate in Global Expert Network Participation
- Support business changes (e.g. implementation of technical enablers, system migrations, roll-in / transitions of new services or companies)
- Ensure a cross-trained multi-skilled, proactive team
- Contribute to people development for his team
- Provide a high-quality process performance and steer individual/team results
Your profile:

University degree in Tax/Fiscal, Accounting or equivalent education
-
Several years of professional experience in the tax department for the a.m processes including team coordination

Profound technical knowledge of Tax Operations, global Tax Standards and some local specifics

Sound knowledge of SAP modules such as FI and Subledger

Comprehensive knowledge of Bayer tools (E.g. SAP, SSF, SharePoint, etc..)

Excellent oral/presentation and written communication skills

Ability to visualize the process from end to end

Ability to be customer-oriented while applying globally defined and standardized processes.

Management experience (personal leadership, coaching, interpersonal skills)

Capability of target-orientated working with diversified nationalities
-
Pro-active personality for a good overview and an eye for the quality, and capability to anticipate change and prepare his team for a smooth transition by planning, setting expectations and clear communications.

An open and creative problem solver

Very good English skills including special terminologies in the area of Tax

Proficient in MS Office
