Travel and Expense Manager 

 

Your Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of business travel and expense management solutions.
  • Lead or cooperate on global/local projects, including SME groups and sourcing activities.
  • Drive proactive stakeholder management, including compliance, risk management, and procurement.
  • Maintain relationships with travel solution vendors, ensuring quality execution and support.
  • Support business partnering with divisions regarding travel and expense management topics.
  • Actively utilize communication channels such as newsletters, intranet pages, surveys, workshops, and webinars with end users (travelers and travel arrangers).
  • Plan, prepare, and conduct training sessions on travel and expense topics; regularly analyze training needs.
  • Prepare quality, accurate, and timely travel and expense reporting.
  • Provide analytical reviews of travel management KPIs and propose improvement measures to stakeholders.
  • Maintain, review, update, and approve local travel and expense procedures and supporting documents; provide relevant interpretation of procedures to end users.
  • Act as the third escalation point for expense-related topics.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for auditors.
  • Ensure proper system settings; request, test, and approve system changes; identify and propose system improvements.

Who You Are:

  • University degree.
  • Proven experience in travel and expense management.
  • Experience in process optimization.
  • Proven experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including the Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate will be considered a plus.
  • Familiarity with relevant IT systems and tools, including Online Booking Tools booking platforms, communication channels, reporting dashboards, Concur and SAP.
  • Proficient in English (C1 level).
