Customer Experience Lead
This opportunity works with the customer communications leads and third-party vendors and strives to make:
- customers choose Bayer as their preferred provider for their operation;
- enable customer facing teams to run their local business for the benefit of customers and Bayer; and
- provide leadership and coaching within Customer Enablement Marketing Community to support collaborative, cohesive and well-supported customer obsessed teams.

What you will do:
- Provide coaching within Customer Enablement Marketing community to support delivering overall marketing campaign and marketing communications strategies that support achievement of both broad and locally focused priorities.
- Champion and architect, the customer experience strategy (3rd‑party 1:1 calling, direct grower campaigns)
- Pilot and scale AI and technology innovations focused on enhancing customer interactions, automation and measurement to validate value and enable rapid deployment.
- Manage the National McCann relationship focused on setting strategy, overseeing creative and performance deliverables, and ensuring contractual accountability and alignment with Canadian crop priorities.
- Provide enterprise-wide oversight for key vendor relationships while partnering with the business owner who manages on-going, day-to-day interactions, i.e. McCann, AgCall, BeckAg, Helix, Konrad.
- Steward core sales and marketing systems and tools (CRM, ePSF, Seismic, KnowledgeHound, Absorb, etc.) focused on maintenance, enhancement prioritization and future design to support a single‑customer view and campaign execution.
- Ensure regulatory, privacy and compliance controls focused on customer data usage, communications consent and campaign safeguards to protect growers and the business.
- Partner and collaborate with key stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Rebate Fulfillment, and Legal.
- Leads oversight for the overarching Customer Enablement Marketing and Data Insights and Customer Excellence budget, partnering with the team to align spending decisions with priorities and optimize return on spend.
Who you are:
- MBA / B.S in Business, Marketing or Agriculture or related discipline (advanced degree an asset)
- 10/+ years of industry experience combined with solid technical knowledge of Bayer Crop Science and competitor products
- Sound understanding of business principles, financial systems and effective leadership
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication ability to build respect and trust
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to overcome objections or resistance and identify mutually agreeable solutions to complex and ambiguous problems.
- Ability to make decisions with limited information while balancing the needs and priorities of various stakeholders
- Extensive computer skills to effectively use MS Office software package, and other software (SAP, CRM, etc.)
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams while supporting multiple priorities and deadlines

The base salary range for this role is between $131,000 and $196,000. This compensation includes components such as base salary, vacation pay, public holiday pay, potential estimated overtime pay and paid statutory leaves of absence. Additional benefits may include insured benefits such as health care, vision, dental, disability, and contributory retirement savings plans, etc.
This role also provides the opportunity to earn additional performance-based compensation. If performance-based compensation is earned, the total compensation package may provide an opportunity to earn a Total Direct Compensation (TDC) range of $190,200 to $240,200. This TDC would include base salary and may also include items like bonuses (short-term and long-term incentives) and sales incentives. The estimated TDC range estimates performance-based compensation earned at 100% of target; however actual amounts may fluctuate below or above the TDC range based on company and/or individual performance.
This salary range is an estimate and may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, market data and the applicant’s skills, prior relevant experience, job-related knowledge, specific degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
