TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES

 

  • Design and develop product changes and enhancements which are consistent with a zero defect level as well as low product cost. Solve complex problems at the product level.
  • Conduct testing utilizing DOE methodology and other experimental design tools. Generate effective testing reports.
  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing fixturing and tooling.
  • Supervise assigned technicians and temporary workers.
  • Complete projects (including product enhancements) aligned with corporate objectives. - Update manufacturing documentation to prevent non conformances.
  • Maintain current knowledge of competitive technologies in addition to medical, technical, and biomedical developments related to Bayer Medical SRL products.
  • Provide engineering and technical support of product transfers as required.
  • Provide support in the resolution of product complaints and/or safety issues.
  • Work directly with the Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Finance, Process Engineering and any other area to coordinate validation/qualification runs.
  • Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA/MDD regulations. - If needed, Train manufacturing/production personnel.
  • Develop and conduct protocols, equipment installation and operational qualifications and process validation protocols.
  • Another duties can be assigned to the employee once the corresponding training is completed - Ensure that all assigned training is completed on time.

WHO YOU ARE

 

  • Industrial, Mechanical Bachelor Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Languages: Spanish (Native). English Intermediate (able to understand, interpretate, do and communicate general instructions.
  • EXPERIENCE 1-3 years experience in Medical Device industry (Desired).
  • Basics in Lean Manufacturing and 6S.
  • Knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • ABILITIES AND SKILLS: - Proactive. - Open mind and capable to face changes in a positive way. - Good leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure. - Good communication skills. - Travel: Passport and US Visaactive, and willing to travel.
