Sourcing Specialist Work Lead 

 
   
   

Major Tasks

• Price Update: Lead monitoring and initiation of price updates, ensuring alignment with demand owners and suppliers, oversee calculation index-based adjustments, manage additional approval processes, and ensure complete documentation and compliance.

• Sourcing Adjacent: Drive tail spend optimization and approval processes, ensure system content maintenance, lead analysis and reporting activities, and address complex supplier and stakeholder queries.

• Stakeholder & Negotiation: Build strong stakeholder relationships and lead supplier negotiations for optimal outcomes.

 • Digital & Analytical Capabilities: Utilize procurement platforms, analytics, and data visualization tools to identify trends and drive cost optimization.

• Strategic & Market Awareness (senior focus): Anticipate supply risks, cost drivers, and opportunities to align activities with category strategies and organizational goals.

• Contract Management: Support activities related to contracts, including amendments, extensions, and terminations, ensuring compliance and efficiency in the contracting process.

 

Skills.

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement operations or supply chain management with focus on strategic sourcing.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, analytical platform) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Competencies: Strategic mindset, leadership, resilience, and decision-making abilities.

• Strategic Sourcing Experience: Demonstrated experience and knowledge in sourcing, including supplier negotiations, market analysis, and sourcing strategy development.

• Languages: Proficiency in English is required; other languages are an advantage.

• Soft Skills: Effective communication and collaboration, problem- solving skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, and time management.

• Other Skills: Accountability, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
