Supply Execution Manager 

 
   
   

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • The incumbent will focus on one or several impactful tasks in planning and/or materials management within the planning and supply chain management areas.
  • Own supply plan execution across a 0–12-month horizon, ensuring the right product, right time, right place, at the right cost. Translate S&OP strategies and changes into a supply strategy.
  • Manage exceptions: detect risks early (capacity, QA release timing, logistics, MD/parameter issues), drive mitigations, and escalate per governance. Responsible to manage efficient Inventory management for Lifecycle events.
  • Prioritize via segmentation: apply product/customer segmentation to route scarce supply, request production schedule/volume adjustments, and align release priorities. 
  • Parameter & data ownership: maintain and challenge market level planning parameters and critical transactional data required for flawless execution within global design to ensure E2E cost efficiency. 
  • Decision enablement & communication: provide clear status, outlooks, and action plans to stakeholders; represent Supply Execution in cross functional forums. 
  • Continuous improvement: reducing interfaces, cycle time, manual work; improve data quality; and strengthening community practices.
  • Boundary conditions (not owned by SEM): detailed production scheduling, delivery creation, local warehousing operations, strategic customer business activities, and material master governance (as per global allocation). 
  • Running daily is too much with country focus/weekly S&OE huddle for assigned markets: backlog, risks, mitigations, decisions required.
  • Manage local inventory based on exception management, S&OP input and Lifecycle events. Ensure healthy inventory targets (within limits) by avoiding overstock, write off or excessive inventory parked due to local processes and delays. 
  • Monitor exception dashboards (backorders, allocations, QA releases, shipments) and trigger actions. 
  • Proactively communicate major Market changes to relevant stakeholders and plan for a supply strategy based on S&OP outcomes.
  • Align with Brand Caretaker/Planning Lead planning leads should not be pulled at all in the short term unless its bottleneck let’s leave BC for now also only for allocation on priority products, release sequences, and site signals.
  • Request production schedule/volume adjustments for priority products according to demand spikes or strategic needs.  based on segmentation, demand spikes, or market events. 
  • Maintain/validate/challenge planning parameters & transactional data (e.g., lead times, lot sizes, safety stock rules; IDoc/PO/SO sync). 
  • Ensure Data Quality especially with Net Demand to ensure sites get the right signals based on real country demand.
  • Decide/confirm transport modes, trigger pre bookings, and guide customs clearance order; arrange quarantine as needed. 
  • Manage local stock moves (DC to DC, iron stock policy), and coordinate relabeling/repack with stakeholders. 
  • Support launches, label changes, and deletions from an Inventory standpoint, ensuring no supply risk. 
  • Produce weekly supply situation and critical product lists with ETA, risk, and action plan. 
  • Drive continuous improvement: simplify handovers, reduce manual steps, and improve data quality. 
  • Local Change Management to ensure GXP aligned implementation of new and adjusted SKUs 
  • Local Master Data Management extends new SKUs with the right local parameters.

 

 

WHO YOU ARE 

 

  • Master’s degree in supply chain management, business studies, computer science, industrial engineering, economics or an equivalent qualification / bachelor’s degree with substantial work experience
  • At least 3 years of relevant operational experience in SCM and Manufacturing in the Life Science or FMCG industry.
  • Advanced English level is required.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry and ability to leverage know-how in changing supply chain organization.
  • Profound knowledge of respective products, production sites, and associated operations such as quality control and logistics.
  • Ability to approach impactful challenges within the short-term and tactical horizon.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders (from different functional backgrounds) to achieve shared goals.
  • Understanding requirements of legal, regulatory and GMP/GXP environment.
  • Understanding and expertise in using supply chain management software (OMP / APO) for planning, inventory management and logistics operations.
  • Lead more complex work in supply chain management.
  • Understanding product lifecycle events and required change processes.
  • Exceptional skills in solving complex business problems and using analytical techniques.
  • Entrepreneurial and analytical mindset, and a focus on excellence and continuous improvement.
