Tax Senior Associate

Major Tasks:

• Verification and processing of transactions in SAP according to the FA&TAX activity split.
• Ensure fiscal quality of accounting data by performing checks and corrections, as well as monitoring and following up with other internal departments and local tax authorities.
• Manage compliance processes of TAX (VAT, WHT, Corporate Income Tax, Local taxes) according to the activity split by country.
• Prepare data for tax declarations, complete forms, and submit required fiscal reports, according to the activity split by country.
• Perform Tax Accounting activities according to the activity split by country.
• Contribute to improving tax processes and implement innovation and standardization.

Position Requirements:

Skills:

• Professional experience of 3 years in Accounting & Taxes or a similar field.
• Main knowledge of Ecuador and Costa Rica (Mandatory).
• Studies in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a similar field (Desirable).
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a Tax Associate position.
• Advanced English language skills in both spoken and written forms (Mandatory).
• Knowledge of relevant tax areas, e.g., VAT/WHT and CIT.
• Familiarity with SAP (P08, P4S, N8P, PBC).
• Data analysis skills: proficient in Excel, Knime, Power Automate, SAP script, MACRO, IA. Experience in Power BI or VBA would be a plus.
• Ability to collaborate and work under pressure with high flexibility in a changing and complex environment.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Ability to build meaningful and well-structured stakeholder relationships.
