SME - Logistics 

POSITION PURPOSE:

• • Ensure quality products and volumes meet local & export requirements as a Subject Matter Expert - Logistics in the Himmatnagar Operations Unit.
  • Co-responsible for squads results and succeeding in site Outcomes established for the Unit (responsibility shared with squad members under this unit).
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality and People, modeling One PSS principles
  • Manage operations with VACC (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach). competencies, for sub-Squads organized in the Unit - as needed to ensure the best experience possible for all individuals within the squad.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• • Maintain / sustain Warehouse Management System (WMS) at site & support to region for WMS.
  • Adhere to the HSE guideline and be the role model for others to sustain safe working culture at site, active contribution to achieve HSE goals / initiatives of site.
  • Responsible for RM & PM receipt & issue uninterrupted daily production.
  • Responsible for FG local dispatches and exports with coordination with USS SCM team.
  • Responsible for managing Engineering Stores and all supplies of Spares with close co-ordination with USS through SAP.
  • Manage and monitor rented WH / 3PL operations w.r.t inventory, traceability, no stock discrepancy and smooth operations.
  • Responsible for all Contracts and Rent agreements are in place for smooth WH operation.
  • Material Planning of Job work and supply necessary Material as per requirement.
  • Responsible for Implementation of Digital Projects and Process at warehouse like, TMS / SAP Changes / UATs, Digital Dashboards, E Invoice and support to site for SharePoint, Power BI and other digital tools implementation.
  • Responsible for all material movement and its compliances with necessary Co-ordination with Taxation, Invoice, E-Invoice, Waybill, ITC4 etc.
  • Responsible for Tax Transactional Compliance at Site - Goods and services Tax, Customs.
  • Responsible to sustain one PSS & support visual management.
  • Responsible for the Audits at sites like Stock Count, Safety / BBS, ISO etc.
  • Responsible for preparing monthly stock statement/ Inventory Management/ Other Warehouse Management Information Reports.
  • Responsible to Create material codes for new Engineering items.
  • Timely release of Stock items purchase requisition.
  • Timely posting of Incoming material, sending invoices to CIRD.
  • Co-Ordinate with supplier for quotations, negotiations, preparation of purchase requisition, timely delivery of ordered material, defective returns, and its documentation for engineering and miscellaneous items.

WHO YOU ARE:

• • 5–7 years of proven experience in warehouse operations
  • Graduate in Commerce/ Science
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Power BI and SAP (Inventory / Warehouse Management)
  • Practical knowledge in leveraging AI tools and solutions for operational efficiency
  • Cross-functional collaboration & communication
  • Determination to lead, direct, and motivate employees
  • Ability to take initiative and responsibility
  • To have knowledge of overall function i.e. Warehouse & Logistic Management
  • Strong communication in Hindi and English. Gujarati will be an added advantage
