MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible to plan and review Radiology Medical device demand and supply, including coordination with global supply management to balance demand and supply; minimize the impact of any supply constraints; and maximize the opportunities for sales growth by proactive and rapid communication of supply challenges across the organization.

 

YOUR KEY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Demand Planning

  • Check accuracy of statistical forecasting and/or create baseline based on historical data.
  • Liaise with country organizations to obtain enrichments, evaluate and incorporate changes, including product launch or pruning, into demand plans and document reasons for change.
  • Regularly analyze KPI’s (e.g. forecast accuracy, Forecast Bias, and Forecast driven write-offs) and propose actions to improve performance in collaboration with Commercial Customer teams and Supply Chain Excellence teams.
  • Proactively reconcile and highlight misalignments among, demand, supply & financial forecast.
  • Closely monitor supply issues (e.g. stock outs and bottlenecks) in collaboration with supply coordination and identify impact on demand.
  • Prepare and support S&OP meetings in line with global schedule, including but not limited to preparation of reports, analysis of issues and risks, as well as coordination of action items.
  • Partner with country organizations to monitor shelf life and obsolescence and provide recommendations to avoid write-offs.

2) Supply Coordination         

  • Collaborate effectively across supply chain functions, regulatory and quality assurance to ensure supply to meet commercial demands.
  •  Ensure that near and long-term planning horizons are scheduled to achieve supply targets in line with forecasts, especially for new product launches and promotions.
  • Create purchase orders and check past due orders regularly and coordinate mitigation actions.
  • Provide recommendations on inbound transportation modes, as well as routing and timing in line with business needs
  • Coordinate customs clearance with logistics service providers and country organizations.
  • Manage logistics service provider payments in collaboration with country organizations.

3) Master Data

  • Responsible and the main contact for master data for ASEAN medical device

 

YOUR KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration and a post graduate certificate in a supply chain management discipline preferred
  • 2 to 5 years related experience in supply chain management
  • Must be a self-starter, with good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Knowledge in MS Office
  • Preferably has experience in operational excellence
  • Highly motivated, structured and able to handle stressful situations
  • Strong in trouble shooting, problem solving and high degree of proactivity
  • Results oriented
  • Proficient in oral and written English; multiple languages an advantage
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multicultural environment
