Technical Trainer 

 

TECHNICAL TRAINER

PURPOSE:

As Technical Trainer for Bayer Radiology’s Equipment Services, this position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Technical Training Delivery Team and development of effective Service Technical Training classroom and e-Learning programs that will be delivered to the Bayer Field Service Teams and International Distributors service teams to meet certification requirements, required to support Bayer Products. The position can be residence based however, you must be able to be in the Indianola, PA location monthly. The position has a 25-50% travel requirement. 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

More specifically, this position will be responsible for:

  • Delivery of Technical Training Classes to the Field Service and internal technical teams and International Distributors for legacy, current and new Bayer Products;
  • Schedule and conducted Trainings at Bayer’s Regional locations and/or customer locations as required;
  • Development of yearly Technical Training Plan and calendar to meet Bayer Service Technical Training requirements;
  • Development and delivery of Biomed Technical Training Programs that meet Service Marketing requirements;
  • Maintain Bayer’s recertification program for Field Service Reps;
  • Assist in setting functional and project objectives for team/area and deliver results;
  • Assist with identification and implementation of new processes and technologies to enhance current technical training program development and delivery methods;
  • Conduct Technical Training Classes to new hires and current Field Service Engineers;
  • Update and repair training units to ensure they are available for use in Sales and Clinical training classes;
  • Assist product development and sustaining teams in preparation of technical documents;
  • Assist in the development of New Product Training programs to include new SOP’s, technical updates, etc.;
  • Update and Revise existing Training Programs;
  • Training Program development to include Installation, Service Repair, Predictive Maintenance activities and requirements, as well as user Operation of each product. Product related Service Manuals and Field Procedures should also be included and covered in training programs;
  • Develop and prepare training support handouts.

 

WHO ARE YOU

Bayer seeks an incumbent who processes the following:

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree in relevant discipline required with at least 8 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with 5 years of relevant experience;
  • Prior experience in a Bayer Service Operations or a similar Field Technical Service position;
  • Ability to train team members of various levels of experience;
  • Demonstrated ability to create training content, deliver engaging training sessions and manage learning systems;
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written);
  • Experience in Microsoft office products and/or other products which may be used to deliver training content;
  • This role may include domestic (25-50%) and limited International Travel.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience as a trainer.
  • Networking and DICOM Experience/Knowledge;
  • In depth knowledge of Legacy and Current Bayer Radiology Products.

 

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $97,022.00 to $145,533.00.  Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).  Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. 

This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
