PURPOSE
Achieve individual sales targets by accurately identifying consumer profiles, maintaining customer relationships, resolving customer-related issues, and implementing marketing programs to ensure business continuity.
MAJOR TASKS

Convince customers to use Bayer products in order to achieve individual sales targets by instilling product concepts, executing promotional programs, and following company SOPs. A Product Specialist is required to have strong knowledge of their territory, master product details, and continuously build effective and communicative relationships with Healthcare Professionals, distributors, hospitals, and other strategic clients through regular effective visits.

Gather market information such as competitor activities and customer feedback regarding the products and company, and report this information to the Sales Manager and Product Manager.

Implement all marketing activities such as GD (Group Discussion), RTD (Round Table Discussion), workshops, and other activities that support Bayer product sales in line with sales strategies by acting as PIC (Person in Charge) for events, managing related resources, and inviting clients to attend.

Develop competencies to improve sales targets through weekly role-play selling skills, evaluating feedback from OJC (On the Job Coaching) during each JV (Joint Visit), attending product knowledge refresher trainings, other required trainings, and product certifications.

Provide operational reports so the Department can analyze sales and marketing data, such as call visits, RTD/GD operational reports, and projected sales reports for the following month to ensure stock availability at distributors.

Compile data on total market sales potential and conduct Pareto analysis of customers to identify key contributors to be retained, as well as potential customers whose contribution is still small, by proposing promotional programs tailored to each customer to increase Bayer’s sales contribution.

As part of career development, a Product Specialist may be assigned to temporarily take over the role of a Sales Manager (SM) if their direct supervisor is unavailable for daily duties. All activities performed during this acting role must be reported to the supervisor at the end of the assignment.

Report any Adverse Events (AEs) communicated by Healthcare Professionals to Bayer Indonesia Drug Safety within 24 hours after the report is received from the HCP.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- The main competencies for the job—collaboration, efficiency, and flexibility
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa and passive proficiency in English.
