CAPEX Lead 

Your Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• CapEx Portfolio and Strategy Development: Define the capital investment strategy aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.
• Identify investment opportunities that generate long-term value and improve operational efficiency. Project and Budget Preparation.
• Lead the preparation of CapEx project proposals, including financial and technical justification.
• Develop and manage detailed budgets for each project, ensuring that costs are realistic and aligned with return expectations.
• Feasibility Analysis: Perform technical feasibility analyses and contribute financial information to the technical project to evaluate the profitability of proposed projects.
• Evaluate associated risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Planning and Scheduling: Create detailed project plans that include timelines, required resources, and key milestones.
• Coordinate with different sub-clusters to ensure that resources are available and aligned with the project schedule.
• Multidisciplinary Team Management: Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary work teams, including internal and external personnel.
• Promote collaboration and effective communication among team members to ensure compliance with project objectives.
• Project Execution Oversight: Monitor project progress, ensuring that established deadlines and budgets are met.
• Conduct periodic project status reviews and adjust plans as needed to address any deviations. Stakeholder Management.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the Technical System Owner and internal and external stakeholders, maintaining clear and effective communication.
• Present progress and results reports to senior management and other key stakeholders, ensuring they are informed of the project status.
• Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: At project completion, conduct post-implementation evaluations to analyze performance and achievement of objectives.
• Identify lessons learned and best practices to improve future CapEx projects and planning processes.

Who You Are:

1. Educational level: Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
2. Special knowledge: Knowledge of GMP manufacturing, pharmaceutical processes, filling lines, packaging lines, inspection system, critical systems / services,general services, chemical processes, reaction equipment, separation, drying, micronization, homogenization, mixers, filters and pressure vessels.
3. General knowledge: Design, plan, execute, document, commission and deliver the engineering project.
4. Languages: fluent in English and Spanish, spoken and written.
5. Work experience: 3 to 5 years in the chemical-pharmaceutical industry, in investment projects.
