Bayer JUARA Internship

PURPOSE

Provide hands-on learning opportunities in agricultural research and development, where the intern will gain practical working experience, develop technical and communication skills, build a professional network, gain leadership experience, and have access to real-world agricultural technologies, while contributing to ongoing projects at Bayer JUARA, Klaten, Central Java.

Bayer JUARA, an abbreviation for Bayer Juwiring Agriculture Research and Academy, is the first Bayer Crop Science research station in Indonesia and One of the largest research centers in Southeast Asia with an area of 8.9 hectares, located in Juwiring, Klaten, Central Java focusing in agriculture innovation and solutions through various research on field crops, lowland vegetables, seeds trials.

Our Internship Projects in Bayer JUARA

Fungicide Trial  |  Insecticide Trial  |  Herbicide Trial  |  Soil Testing  | Plant Breeding.

MAJOR TASKS

1. Interns will participate in activities aligned with the projects assigned to them, and the internship will follow the MBKM curriculum that has been approved by Bayer JUARA and the respective Study Program in the university.
2. Each task assigned may include activities related to agronomy, crop protection, soil science, seed production and plant breeding, and will depend on the available research projects at JUARA. The tasks to be performed will generally include, but are not limited to:
   • Research Projects, Fieldwork and Laboratory Activities
   • Data Collection and Analysis
   • Post Harvest Process
   • Collaboration and Team Support
   • Communication Skill and Personal Branding
   • Networking and Professional Development
3. Participate in Reverse Mentoring System
   • Take part in the reverse mentoring system, where the intern has the opportunity to share updates on the latest agricultural trends, research findings, or innovations.
   • Provide new ideas, insights, or suggestions that could contribute to the company’s ongoing projects or future development.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

1. The internship program is eligible for Bachelor’s degree student with Agriculture related major
2. Currently enrolled as 5th semester student or above
3. Please attach the required docs: Internship Letter from Faculty, Internship proposal and CV (in 1 document)
4. Availability for a minimum internship period of 2 months.
5. Willing to undergo internship at Bayer JUARA Research Center in Klaten, Central Java.
6. Strong interest in agricultural research and development.
7. Willingness to learn and develop technical and communication skills.
8. Proactive and open-minded attitude, with a willingness to contribute fresh ideas.
