 JOB PURPOSE:

This Clinical Marketing Specialist role is responsible for participating in the development and implementation of clinical marketing plans and for developing tools that highlight the clinical value proposition of Radiology entire products. Partnering with Solutions Specialist to shape customer requirements on clinical trend setting on our related products. Additionally, deep understanding on customer workflow, data analysis, stakeholders’ roles and influence to provide insights and co-create/develop an integral solution strategy to target customers. He/She should be able to articulate technical expertise, clinical value and benefits based on customer needs and approach customers under a Solution Provider mindset, supporting sales and services according to Bayer’s strategy, not limiting to promote the technical and clinical support of Radiology products to customers and distributors in the safe operation of Radiology products. It includes contrast media, medical device, consumables, software and future products development. This position serves as a resource across functions, and with our sales team, and externally with our customers

 

MAIN ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Clinical Marketing responsibilities:
  • Develop messaging and positioning for our integrated solutions that will differentiate products from a clinical and technical perspective and identify how they address our customers’ needs
  • Develop and support thought leader engagement and to create a successful reference network for clinical and technical validation
  • Understand the needs of clinical markets and create strong demand through clinical workshops and scientific workshop
  • Support and execute the new market development strategies - Develop communication plans including presence at industry tradeshows
  • Develop appropriate marketing material for the clinical space. Lead the execution of packaging marketing content, trade show materials and collateral that support service offerings to drive interest and create differentiation - branding and sales materials such as whitepapers, case studies, fact sheets and webinars –
  • Connect and Collaborate with Product & Pipeline with APAC and Global marketing teams
  • Gather market intelligence in the clinical market - Collaborate with HCPs to collect clinical information

 

  1. Reviews clinical publications
  • Partner closely with Product team to identify and solve challenges across a range of areas including rapidly changing market, competitive dynamics, and alignment between product, clinical, and sales
  • Co-create and collaborate with Solution Specialist create and maintain messaging matrix, incorporating testimonials into product marketing initiatives
  • Has deep knowledge of the radiology workflows in the portfolio and acts as a subject matter expert, identifying and resolving potential issues across the area
  • Develop plans to improve/maximize workflow efficiency, image acquisition and influence conditions inside the customer.

 

  1. Application responsibilities:
  • Train customers stakeholders in Bayer Radiology products and solutions.
  • Call on new and existing accounts to promote the clinical application value of Radiology products and create opportunities by establishing credibility
  • Works independently to implement clinical studies
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with Radiology HCPs and OEM Marketing and Application, and business partners
  • Support presenting of future and existing clinical data with context and evidence generation. - Remain fully competent with Radiology products through product training and self-initiative.

 

  1. Training responsibilities:
  • Conduct new hire operational training (1st line), including researching and building relevant presentation content and handouts
  • Run quarterly Continuing Educational Program for the sales team
  • Supports and coaches country teams to deliver the outcome goals, building their capabilities

YOUR SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS.

  • A minimum of 3+ years’ clinical experience as an MR or CT Tech is preferred
  • Certification as a Radiographer is required
  • Proven marketing expertise and in-depth knowledge of radiology workflows to craft differentiated value messaging and drive solution adoption
  • Knowledge in contrast media, OEM Scanners (CT/MR/CV)
  • Ability to interpret clinical images and statistics
  • Experience in PACS, RIS, and local hospital network
  • Bachelor’s degrees in related technical discipline is preferred
  • Experience working with Radiologists and Radiographers - HCPs and Key Opinion leaders
  • Experience in training people with and without clinical backgrounds - Excellent communication skills, public speaking/teaching skills, organizational skills –
  • Strong ability to write and communicate from a clinical application perspective
