Customs Professional Expert (all genders)

Join Bayer AG at our Leverkusen site and become part of the Supply Chain Management team within our Crop Science Division. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and compliant processing of our international shipments while optimizing customs and foreign trade processes. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• You organize and process our shipments, including preparing the necessary documents while ensuring compliance with applicable legal regulations, approval requirements, and internal customs and foreign trade compliance guidelines
• You serve as a point of contact for operational customs and foreign trade matters
• You maintain customs-related master data and handling general administrative tasks
• Contributing to the further development of our processes as well as cross-departmental projects

• You have successfully completed commercial training or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience
• You have several years of experience in the operational handling of import/export shipments in international trade
• You bring in-depth knowledge of customs and foreign trade law
• Your knowledge in the areas of supply chain and logistics is an advantage
• You are ideally familiar with the ATLAS system and have some practical experience with SAP as well as the "centralized customs clearance" procedure
• You are proficient in all common MS Office programs
• You work in a structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented manner and demonstrate a high level of teamwork, communication skills, and independence
• Your good command of both English and German (spoken and written) completes your profile.​​​​​​
