Intern in Launch Logistics/Project Management (all genders) 

 

The global warehouse and transport team at Bayer is responsible for a variety of strategic and operational projects within the pharmaceutical and consumer health supply chain. Launch Logistics deals with the supply chain and transport set-up of new products, including specific challenges in the area of digital, technical and sustainable solutions. Our team engages in cross-functional exchanges early in the product development process to ensure that a new product is transported and stored based on the best and most sustainable solutions. To work on current projects in the field of launch logistics, we are looking for support in the Global Warehouse & Transportation department for the following

 

YOUR TASKS AND EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

 

  • Support the team regarding project management in the area of launch logistics
  • Assisting in the development of project plans, monitoring project progress and deliverables
  • Preparing presentations and status updates
  • Supporting the data analysis and evaluation, as well as presenting the developed analyses in a clear and concise manner Internal and external research on various topics, especially in the field of digital, technical and sustainable transport solutions for new Bayer products

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

  • Ongoing Master's degree in Business Administration, preferably with a focus on logistics, supply chain management or similar
  • Experience in project management in an international environment is desirable
  • Interest and initial work experience in the areas of supply chain management and transport & warehousing
  • Very good knowledge of the MS Office package (especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), further knowledge of analysis and visualisation tools would be an advantage
  • Ability to work creatively, analytically and in a structured manner Strong communication skills and interest in working with international colleagues from a wide range of functions and disciplines
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
