Internship Analytics Advisory & Data Democratization / SC&L Analytics (all genders) 

 

 

YOUR TASKS AND LEARNING AREAS

 

  • Active support in various projects in the field of Supply Chain & Logistics (SC&L) Analytics and Reporting across all divisions of Bayer AG
  • Support for the Enterprise Data Analytics platform, for example by carrying out a standardized demand process and assisting with data stewardship activities such as data governance or developing authorization concepts
  • Participation in the conceptual development of innovative IT solutions and Advanced Analytics use cases for Supply Chain Management in areas such as End-to-End Supply Chain Planning, Production & Quality, Inventory & Write-Off Management, or Downstream, e.g., development of a reporting and analytics tool for inventory projections
  • Assistance in developing a strategy and concept for establishing decision support solutions (standard reporting vs. self-service)
  • Support in validating business processes regarding logical and factual relationships with a focus on optimization and automation
  • Participation in the development and implementation of strategic IT projects for the introduction of planning tools and for the harmonization and standardization of data architecture
  • Support in the transition from a BW system-based data landscape to a cloud-native data landscape
  • Assistance in preparing information for stakeholders and decision-makers

 

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

  • Enrolled student in economics or a comparable field
  • Initial specializations in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Data Science, and/or IT, as well as relevant internships are advantageous
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Basic knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, and/or Analysis for Office is a plus
  • Enjoyment of working in an international team and interest in IT
  • Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers
  • Strong communication skills and initiative, as well as enjoyment in implementing innovative ideas
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken
