Quality Control Manager - Bulk Analytics (all genders)
As a Quality Control Manager - Bulk Analytics (all genders), you will serve as the scientific manager and functional leader in our analytical QC lab. You will ensure that all cGMP-compliant QC activities are conducted on time, safeguarding Bayer's license to operate and market supply. Your role is essential for the implementation and execution of a state-of-the-art quality control strategy for assigned products, as well as for the continuous improvement of operational QC processes.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- You lead QC activities and ensure timely and cGMP-compliant execution
- You implement and execute an advanced quality control strategy for assigned products
- You are the QC manager for assigned products, including analytical methods, representing the capability pool in the assigned value stream or product team
- You apply VACC behaviors and embody a collaborative and empowering leadership style to guide and develop a team of analytical or cross-functional experts
- You manage QC-related processes in an analytical laboratory to perform cGMP-compliant release and stability testing
- You are the responsible person for QC release decisions and the correct and timely processing of deviations and out-of-spec results
- You support the continuous development of effective QC processes and the improvement of operational excellence
- You prepare and maintain internal product documentation and global regulatory dossiers
WHO YOU ARE
- You hold an advanced degree (master’s or equivalent) in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology)
- You have leadership experience in a GMP-regulated environment and have proven experience in cross-functional projects
- You are a -scientific expert for dedicated analytical methods and proactively drive exchange with internal and external SME networks
- You have a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and lifecycle management of analytical test methods
- You are a strong communicator who builds trust and motivates teams to perform at their best
- You think analytically, solve problems effectively, and remain focused under pressure
- Your fluent German and English skills (written and spoken) complete your profile
