Radiology AI & Process Design Internship (m/f/d) 

The Radiology division of Bayer SpA is looking for a brilliant candidate as Radiology AI & Process Design Internship to help turn real operational pain points into simple digital solutions—from lightweight web apps to automations and AI agents—streamlining internal Radiology processes.

The focus is on pragmatic, low/no-code, easy-to-maintain builds that reduce manual work, boost speed and accuracy, and are ready for adoption by non-technical users.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in mapping key workflows (e.g., Service Administration, Tenders, sales support) and help identify pain points and areas for improvement
• Contribute to translating business needs into clear, simple functional requirements and success criteria
• Help co-create AI solutions with business stakeholders and end users through workshops, brainstorming sessions, and design sprints
• Assist in building and iterating low/no-code web apps and automations; contribute to designing AI agent workflows to support repetitive tasks (e.g., document handling, data checks)
• Participate in running small pilots with users, help collect feedback, measure impact (time saved, error reduction), and iterate toward viable solutions
• Contribute to AI enablement for team members by providing guidelines, prompts, and usage tips
• Help explore relevant AI capabilities (e.g., generative AI, AI agents) and contribute to identifying simple, high-impact use cases

WHO YOU ARE:

• Master’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or Design-related fields (Interaction, Service, or Product Design)
• Hands-on familiarity with low/no-code tools for building simple apps and automations
• Basic familiarity with Generative AI concepts, Large Language Models (LLMs), and automation solutions
• Strong curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a pragmatic, self-starter attitude
• Proactive, creative, and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to approach complex problems in a structured way
• Ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical users
• Basic grasp of process mapping and user-centric design, with an ability to keep solutions simple and maintainable

• Fluent knowledge of English (both written and spoken) and Italian mother tongue
