Coordinator
The Coordinator will provide support and operational oversight to the product and customer squads. This includes Thought Leader (TL) support and agency coordination, CF coordination and e-wizard support in material development for the seamless execution of marketing plans, managing multiple brand budgets, internal meeting planning and external meeting planning (key congresses, consultancy meetings etc) and administrative support. As well the coordinator will liaise with team members, cross-functional partners and customers to ensure service and satisfaction. This position requires a strong relationship-building capacity, business acumen, high work ethic, and teamwork.
The Coordinator is critical to the day-to-day operations. This role also supports the teams planning and project management processes to stay on-time and ensure SOP and compliance processes are adhered to.
Bayer is committed to a flexible hybrid working environment. This is a 12-month term position which can be a Development Assignment or a Contract position, based out of Head Office in Mississauga, ON.

What you will do:
Thought Leader Support:
- Coordinate logistics for participation at industry conferences and TL events.(Managing meeting spaces, hotel blocks, travel, registration, liaise with global partners, manage booth production and logistics.)
- Complete sponsorship process and logistics for international travel. Manage all honoraria/ grants and expenses. Coordinate logistics for speakers at national conferences.
- Coordinate and set up advisory board and consultant meetings; attend meetings as required.
- Development and roll out of internal team processes and timelines (e.g. ad boards)
Manage functional aspects of budgets (multiple brands across department):
- High functioning knowledge of all systems. PO generation in compliance with procurement standards. New vendor setup.
- Track multiple brand P&I spends so that aligned with % project completion and billing to achieve 95% accrual accuracy. Ensure all spends and accruals are aligned with Brand managers phasing of A&P spends month over month and YTD.
- Efficient handling of vendor and customer inquiries, problem-solving.
Manage internal communications, internal meetings, team creative, team building opportunities, internal fundraising events.
Attend LT meetings, support agenda development / action items.
Who you are:
- Post-secondary education in marketing, business
- 3-5 years experience in marketing support function
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – strong team player
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to manage ambiguity and readily adapt to change
- Strong organization skills, detail oriented
- Strong understanding of internal functions and basic accounting terms
- Bilingual an asset, but not required

The base salary range for this role is between $64,800 and $94,200. This compensation includes components such as base salary, vacation pay, public holiday pay, potential estimated overtime pay and paid statutory leaves of absence. Additional benefits may include insured benefits such as health care, vision, dental, disability, and contributory retirement savings plans, etc.
This role also provides the opportunity to earn additional performance-based compensation. If performance-based compensation is earned, the total compensation package may provide an opportunity to earn a Total Direct Compensation (TDC) range of $69,000.00 to $103,600. This TDC would include base salary and may also include items like bonuses (short-term and long-term incentives) and sales incentives. The estimated TDC range estimates performance-based compensation earned at 100% of target; however actual amounts may fluctuate below or above the TDC range based on company and/or individual performance.
This salary range is an estimate and may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, market data and the applicant’s skills, prior relevant experience, job-related knowledge, specific degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
