Senior Director, Commercial Lead - Menopause 

 

Bayer Inc.’s Pharmaceutical division has created a new operating model to better serve our customers and patients and achieve our mission, ‘Health for All’. Reporting directly to the Country President and General Manager Pharmaceutical Division, Bayer Inc., the individual will lead the cross- functional Product Team from a visionary, strategic and financial perspective to ensure successful launch and growth. They will represent the brand at the Pharma Enabling Network and ensure all resource needs for the brand are met. The focus is to ensure decision making and project execution are driven by customer insights to meet performance metrics.

What you will do:

 

·  Financials: Share P&L accountability with peers. Build strong business cases for brand resource needs and ensure delivery of key performance metrics.

·  Leadership: Lead a cross-functional brand squad (medical, market access, regulatory, operations, customer engagement, etc.) and define the short- and long-term brand vision. Ensure the right resources are in place and provide regular feedback to team members. Represent the brand and customer voice at the Pharma Leadership Team (PLT).

·  Strategy: Turn insights from market research, analytics, CI, and customer feedback into actionable strategic plans (brand plans, customer activation). Define positioning and messaging across segments, co-create solutions with customers, and drive value through iterative squad work.

·  Agile Marketing: Operate in agile 90-day cycles, adapting quickly to change, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring outcomes deliver impact while staying anchored in overall Pharma business goals.

·  Content & Digital: Drive modular, timely content creation to support targeted campaigns across microsegments. Ensure content meets PAAB and internal standards, and optimize delivery through digital channels with strong user experience focus.

·  Insight Application: Leverage diverse data sources to stay ahead of industry trends and ensure deep understanding of disease areas, market dynamics, and success metrics.

·  Customer Relationships: Build and maintain trusted partnerships with Canadian thought leaders across segments, in close collaboration with Customer Engagement.

·  Collaboration: Partner closely with Customer Engagement teams to translate field insights into actionable plans and create customer-centric value across touchpoints.

 

Who you are:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or related field; MBA an asset
  • 8+ years of marketing or cross-functional strategic experience, with recent product launch experience a must
  • Experience in Women’s Health and/or sales is an asset
  • Strong business acumen with P&L ownership and resource planning experience
  • Agile mindset with expertise in digital tools and omnichannel engagement strategies
  • Customer-centric, insights-driven decision maker with a track record of execution excellence
  • Collaborative team player who builds trust, manages conflict, and fosters inclusivity
  • Resilient and composed under pressure; thrives in fast-paced, competitive environments
  • Proven ability to lead through change, develop talent, and influence stakeholders across all levels
  • Solid understanding of Canadian regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Bilingual in French & English is an asset
