Lead Electrical and Automation Engineer (all genders)  

  
   
   

 

JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Lead Engineer (all genders) E&I (Electrical and Instrumentation) and Automation. You will contribute your expertise throughout all project phases and work closely with various departments to ensure that all technical requirements are met and that projects are completed on time and within budget. Your ability to manage both electrical and automation-related tasks will be of great importance.

 

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Independently execute planning projects of small to medium size from concept development to commissioning.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams, including process development, manufacturing, quality control, quality assurance, engineering, and IT.
  • Manage and coordinate all activities related to concept creation, design, configuration, factory acceptance testing, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Take responsibility for schedule and cost control.
  • Prepare project specifications independently.
  • Identify and realize value-adding opportunities by driving innovations.
  • Generate reports and communicate results effectively.
  • Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with departments such as process development, manufacturing, quality control, quality assurance, engineering, and IT.

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • Master's degree (TU) or Bachelor of Engineering (FH) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field, with several years of professional experience in relevant projects
  • Successful participation in at least one large-scale project as a Project Engineer and independent management of a small to medium project as the responsible Project Lead
  • Strong expertise in process control technology, automation technology, and electrical engineering, along with solid knowledge of field device technology and control systems
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team to achieve common goals
  • Experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
  • High level of reliability and integrity
  • Fluent in both English and German, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
