Packaging Development Co-op 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role are to: 

  • The position will be involved in projects including, but not limited to, packaging process validation, as well as various scientific studies intended to support the manufacturing/packaging site;
  • Execution of protocols authored by full time scientists will be the primary expectation and the candidate may be asked to author and execute protocols independently by the end of the assignment;
  • Execution of protocols typically requires working with packaging operationsstaff to ensure the protocol is understood and followed, and that all required samples are obtained and submitted to the appropriate laboratory;
  • Analysis of results will be expected by the end of the assignment;
  • Typical workday includes working with scientists and engineers with varying levels of experience on their project tasks and eventually be assigned one or more projects to manage independently. 

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of at least 1 year in bachelor studies in any of the following majors: Packaging, Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering or Packaging Technology.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Computer Skills: Must have in-depth knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Work and Excel;
  • Must have excellent organizational skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferably 2 years into bachelor studies in any of the following majors: Packaging, Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering or Packaging Technology.
  • Minitab skills are not mandatory but highly desirable.
