Pre-Commercial Territory Manager 

POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for Foundation Rice increase of Gen1 & Gen2 parental production to ensure quality Foundation seeds availability for pipeline and commercial parents as per Sales business plans

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• • Consistently implement and uphold safety measures in all operational aspects to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Responsible for the multiplication of commercial and pipeline parent seeds as per business plan ensuring the highest standards of genetic and physiological purity.
  • Regularly monitor Foundation farms to ensure compliance with multiplication plans and quality standards.
  • Deliver 90-100% of the volume of allotted parents & providing Yield Forecast - Timely and Accurate
  • Ensure the safe and timely delivery of seeds to meet operational needs while achieving foundation production metrics for designated target lines
  • Identify and lead projects focused on process improvement across Foundation operations, collaborating with project team members for effective implementation.
  • Make recommendations to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Develop and oversee the contractual resource plans for Foundation field operations, guide and monitor the contractual resource for getting timely work done.
  • Partner with Quality, PFN, Breeders for quality production.
  • Adherence and implement company quality and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards to meet targets and audit requirements.
  • Drive improvement solutions aimed at optimizing cost of goods Manufactured (COGM), reduce labor dependency through mechanization and automation.
  • Ensures all operations are compliant to internal Bayer requirements and local regulations
  • Actively participate in community and sustainability engagement activities to promote corporate social responsibility

WHO YOU ARE

• University degree in Agriculture or master’s in agriculture /equivalent)
• 1-2 years’ experience in Seed production or freshers
• Cross-functional collaboration & communication
• Determination to develop, direct, and motivate employees
• Ability to take initiative and responsibility
• Analytical and strategic thinking
• External Stakeholder Relations
