Seed Processing Technician x2 

Purpose:

• The position is responsible for operating machinery in the production line for seed processing and packing, efficiently managing production materials and consumables on the production floor during processing, and maintaining accurate production process data during on the production line to enable effective product costing and inventory management.

• Local

Key Tasks:

• Responsible for operating the equipment safely and optimally in the shift.
• Ensure strict adherence to statutory and domestic regulations particularly those relating to safe working practices in order to avoid
  injury to personnel and damage to company property.
• In liaison with the Maintenance Supervisor, perform maintenance and repairs on plant equipment to ensure equipment is available, reliable
  and safe to operate
• Lead ESH efforts, provide assistance and arrange for resources to promote safety at sites.
• Maintain operational records as required by management systems In liaison with the production coordinator, Process Production orders
  in SAP or Maestro and stage the production process accordingly.
• Active participation and compliance to all ESH policies, procedures, rules and regulations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree/ Higher National Diploma in Production Management, Electrical Engineering, Agriculture Engineering or Mechanical engineering.
• At least 3 years hands on plant operations.
• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
• Excellent Numeracy and analytical skills
• Computer literate
• Knowledge of SAP
