Logistics & Distribution Specialist 

Your Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Team supervision and people management: Assure activities at the distribution center are performed on time, efficiently, within cost, in compliance and following the processes established.
• Manage peak seasons, assess resources needed planning ahead to keep up with the volumes expected.
• Responsible for team training and development maintaining a lean/six sigma mindset and challenge constantly for continuous improvement opportunities.
• Supervision of the record of the incident report and externalization to the areas involved.
• Secure customer orders fulfillment, shipping and delivery: Assure orders are completely fulfilled within the expected lead times.
• Investigates customer complaints related to seed shipments and/or delivery.
• Measures order fulfilling metrics to track performance.
• Distribution Center Management: Secure seed integrity and safety.
• Manage DC budget, including sample expenses.
• Maintain close relationships with vendors and other business stakeholders, providing and receiving input for decision-making.
• Ensure the DC operates in compliance with Bayer ESH standards. Seeking continuous improvement opportunities.
• Ensure SOX and ISO compliance and maintain records for audits, including the annual cycle inventory and Organic Certification Track overall distribution metrics to evaluate performance and implement corrective actions when needed (including warehouse capacity, cost, 100% germination updates, etc.).
• Maintain operational and process discipline to ensure continuity.
• Ensure compliance with quality processes, such as germination updates.

Who you Are:

1. University degree (bachelor's degree or engineering) - Preferred concentrations - Agronomy, Agriculture, Business, International Business, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field Management
2. Leadership competences
3. Knowledge and experience in warehouse management
4. Ability to interact with different levels of the organization
