Cardiorenal Sales Representative
As a Cardiorenal Sales Representative, you are accountable for implementing the sales strategies for approved Cardiorenal products consistent with Bayer’s compliance standards as well as all applicable legal requirements for key targeted Health Care Providers (HCPs) and hospital systems within an assigned territory. You will pull through access and drive utilization for approved cardiovascular products with appropriate patients. The geography for this role includes Odessa, Midland, Lubbock, and El Paso, TX, as well as goegraphy between these locations.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and develop professional relationships with cardiology, nephrology, endocrinology, primary care, pharmacy staff within assigned customers;
- Drive appropriate utilization of approved cardiovascular products, working closely with other Bayer commercial associates to generate pull-through within local payers and community HCPs;
- Leverage knowledge of diabetes, nephrology, cardiovascular disease, the marketplace, applicable competitors, industry and cross-functional activities/plans to anticipate and effectively manage business opportunities and challenges;
- Provide relevant, thoughtful input to other commercial colleagues in regard to strategic and tactical planning for territory, area, and region;
- Develop and implement effective customer-specific territory plans with Regional Sales Managers and communicate insights to internal stakeholders;
- Prioritize time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity and potential;
- Understand fully the assigned customers’ product and business needs and work to meet those needs while adhering to all Bayer company ethics and compliance standards;
- Anticipate potential barriers to achievement of goals and propose responsible solutions for success;
- Effectively handle customer objections and exceed customer expectations with the value you bring to physicians.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus;
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare or a relatable sales environment;
- Proven track record of high performance; can clearly demonstrate how you are customer obsessed;
- Ability to foster an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and applicable laws;
- Quick learning agility, with a curiosity and savviness to come up to speed on the product and industry;
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills;
- Strong analytical and computer capabilities;
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the promotion of pharmaceutical products;
- Product launch experience;
- Virtual sales experience;
- Local relationships with HCPs and understanding of the local market.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $96,533.60- $144,800. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
