Radiology Clinical Application Specialist

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Job Purpose:
  • The Clinical Applications Specialist (Radimetrics, contrast agent Injector applications)  will develop and implement strategies to enhance clinical application services in alignment with Bayer's solutions and applications strategy in Japan. This role focuses on training customers, increasing product adoption, and leveraging clinical applications to drive profitability
• Key Responsibilities:
  
  • Strategy Development: Create and implement strategies for delivering clinical application services in designated areas/accounts, aligned with Bayer's solutions strategy in Japan
  • Customer Training: Train customers on Bayer solutions, including Medical Devices, Contrast Media, and Digital Solutions, while facilitating clinical application sessions, supporting new product launches, and managing marketing activities like presentations and tradeshows. Develop training materials for internal and external audiences
  • Product Utilization Support: Assist customers in maximizing the use of their existing products and promote the full range of Bayer's offerings
  • Revenue Generation: Utilize clinical applications as a key differentiator to generate future service revenue and enhance profitability
  • Sales Enhancement: Engage with users to identify their needs related to Radiology products and provide valuable scientific and clinical information to enhance the use of contrast media imaging
  • Technical Support: Provide technical training and support to field staff and other employees
  • Product Development Assistance: Collaborate with product development teams as needed during the product development process
  • Clinical Marketing Studies: Lead or participate in clinical marketing studies with hospitals, stay updated on clinical trends, and develop clinical papers or sales tools for promotional use
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand trends in radiology
  • Project Collaboration: Lead or participate in APAC/global project teams to ensure RAD Japan’s vision and strategies are effectively communicated and supported
  • Collaboration with Medical Affairs: Work with Medical Affairs and other stakeholders to train commercial teams on leveraging the Scientific Leadership strategy, integrating contrast media, fluid delivery, and digital solutions

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor’s degree or above 
• At least 5 years’ experience as an Application Specialist is in the medical device industry is preferred
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills to coach others on using our products
• Entrepreneur mindset and experience developing and executing product solution proposals
• Excellent networking and collaboration skills and anticipatory problem-solver
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to coach sales reps to continually improve skills
• Ability to accurately understand the needs and issues of customers (researchers) and propose solutions to solve them
• Ability to adapt to new environments and challenges
• Fluent in Japanese language  (N1 for non-Japanese applicants)  
• English TOEIC 600 or above is preferred
