We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Engagement Partner (CEP) Oncology to join the Bayer Pharma team and help deliver our mission: Health for all, Hunger for none. As a CEP, you will be empowered to drive meaningful outcomes for patients and stakeholders, working in an agile, collaborative environment. You’ll focus on what matters most—creating value for patients—by building strong connections with specialists, key opinion leaders, and understanding patient journeys. Aligned with our operating model of Dynamic Shared Ownership, you’ll operate with autonomy, accountability, and a spirit of continual improvement, supported by a networked team that values diversity and innovation.

 

This role can be based in Adelaide or Perth, with travel to WA, SA, and NT as needed.

As CEP you will focus on proactively bringing the outside in, working with healthcare professionals to contribute to national strategy development and uncovering all potential opportunities to transform outcomes for patients faster.

 

  • Plan and optimize field activities using 90-day planning aligned with strategic goals.
  • Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.
  • Understand and validate patient journeys, while sharing Bayer’s expertise and insights.
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Adapt quickly to changing business needs and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive solutions.
  • Use data and analytics for informed decision-making.
  • Stay current on industry trends, product knowledge, and influencing techniques.
  • Leverage digital tools to boost productivity and connectivity.
  • Gather insights and feedback to guide teams and improve customer-centricity.

 

 

Does this sound like you?

  • Pharmaceutical, OTC, or healthcare sales experience
  • Oncology/Urology knowledge (highly desirable)
  • Strong business acumen and customer experience expertise
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Understanding of patient journeys and related treatments
  • Experience in agile environments and 90-day planning (desirable)
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable
  • Willingness to travel within territory, including interstate/regional
  • Knowledge of Medicines Australia Code of Conduct
  • Ability to leverage digital tools for decision-making
  • Passion for improving patient care
