Main Purpose:

This position is part of the site Quality organization and has a strong interface with the global Quality Systems structure, contributing to governance, harmonization, and deployment of global quality initiatives at site level.  

Your mission will be to:

• Provide Quality Oversight for activities performed across different plant areas, ensuring compliance with GMP and internal quality standards.
• Manage, monitor, and evaluate monthly and quarterly Quality KPIs and performance indicators, supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Administer and maintain quality-related specifications, analytical methods, and registration documents throughout their lifecycle.
• Own and manage Quality Master Data in SAP, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with global requirements.
• Actively participate in Health Authority inspections and audits, both local and from export markets, representing QA Systems at site level.
• Lead and manage Change Control processes related to QA Systems, ensuring impact assessment, traceability, and proper execution.
• Manage and oversee quality-related activities with suppliers, including raw materials, packaging materials, and third-party manufacturers producing for Bayer.
• Represent the Pilar site Quality function within the global Quality Systems structure, actively participating in the assigned sub-home.
• Ensure effective local deployment and communication of global Quality initiatives, standards, and improvements arising from the global sub-home.  

Key Stakeholders & Working Relationships: Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality Control, Laboratory Technology & Innovation Projects Corporate and Global Quality.

• University degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related scientific disciplines.
• Minimum 7 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry, with strong expertise in GMP regulations and Quality Assurance / Quality Systems.
• Experience and/or certifications in continuous improvement initiatives, as well as participation in global, cross-functional, or multidisciplinary teams or projects, will be considered a strong advantage.
• Proven experience interacting with Health Authorities and audits is highly valued.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Proactive and positive mindset, with open, constructive communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborative, innovative, and resilient profile, with a strategic vision of Quality and strong results orientation.
• Excellent teamwork, stakeholder management, and adaptability in dynamic and changing environments.
