In this role, you’ll combine technical expertise with leadership—troubleshooting equipment, mentoring operators, collaborating across teams, and leading critical processes like RCAs and isolations. You’ll also deepen your knowledge in P&IDs, safety systems, and continuous improvement, driving safe, efficient, and sustainable outcomes that benefit you, your team, and Bayer.

Do something that moves you:

  • Mentor and coach team members to build a collaborative, high-performing culture
  • Empower independent thinking and informed decision-making
  • Oversee production tasks: clean-downs, changeovers, and quality checks
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions
  • Partner with support teams to ensure equipment reliability and safety compliance
  • Interpret plant diagrams and lead system isolation procedure

 

 

 

 

Does this sound like you?

  • Experience in packaging, chemical production, FMCG, or similar industries
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills; Cert IV in Competitive Manufacturing Excellence desirable
  • Positive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to work safely in a production environment
  • Knowledge of P&IDs and ability to lead RCA sessions
  • Completed training: Machinery Safety, Chemical Safety, Lean Basics
  • LOTO certification and ability to perform personal isolations
  • A team player who communicates effectively and fosters collaboration
  • Physical ability to work on your feet and operate production machinery
