Associate Service Technician – O’Hara, PA

PURPOSE

This position is responsible for providing basic designer/technician support within a single technical discipline.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position will provide technical expertise and leadership needed to operate and maintain complex automated production systems;
• This position directly impacts supply center financials and product gross margin in ensuring that production related equipment is achieving standard performance rates;
• This position directly impacts the ability to achieve planned production output ensuring customer replenishment demand is met;
• This position ensures adherence to quality system standards and that production related equipment produces product that is within specifications;
• This position will provide technical training and guidance to more junior operational personnel in the manufacturing department;
• This position will directly support safe operation of equipment in the manufacturing environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma and 2 years of relevant experience;
• Demonstrates ability to work as part of a team;
• Demonstrates effective communication skills both orally and written;
• Demonstrates ability to handle ambiguous situations independently;
• Demonstrates high standard for quality of work and attention to detail;
• Demonstrates ability to complete work assignments with minimal supervision;
• Demonstrates ability to effectively cope with change.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Associate's Degree or a 2 year trade/military school completion;
• Experience working in FDA and ISO regulated industries;
• Experience working within a controlled cleanroom manufacturing environment;
• Experience with SAP;
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and systems;
• Experience with providing or delivering technical training;
• Experience with OSHA regulations including LOTO and Arc Flash requirements.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $45,936.00 to $68,904.00.  Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant).  Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. 

This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
