Supply Chain Analyst

Are you a supply chain professional who thrives on keeping complex operations running smoothly and delivering exceptional customer outcomes?
Join Bayer as our Supply Chain Analyst where you'll play a critical role in ensuring our products reach customers safely, efficiently, and on time. Partnering closely with leading logistics providers, internal stakeholders, and key customers, you'll take ownership of warehousing, inventory, and transport operations across Australia, balancing service excellence, operational efficiency, and cost management.

From managing inventory accuracy and driving continuous improvement initiatives to solving operational challenges and optimising performance across our distribution network, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on both the business and the customers we serve.

- Manage day-to-day warehousing and transport operations through third-party logistics providers, ensuring service levels, compliance requirements, and cost targets are achieved.
- Lead inventory management activities, including stock accuracy, reconciliations, returns, redeployment, and inventory availability across multiple warehouse locations.
- Monitor logistics and customer service performance, proactively identifying service issues and implementing corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
- Act as the key operational liaison between Bayer and logistics partners, aligning priorities and ensuring efficient order fulfilment for customers and the business.
- Serve as the local subject matter expert for warehousing and inventory systems, including SAP and DHL interfaces, supporting testing, system enhancements, and issue resolution.
- Prepare and analyse operational performance reports, including inventory, customer DIFOT (Delivered In Full, On Time), warehousing, and transport metrics to support business decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, using commercial acumen, problem-solving, and influencing skills to drive operational excellence and change initiatives.
Does this sound like you?
- Degree qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years' experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory control, or supply chain operations, ideally within FMCG, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related industries.
- Strong experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers and warehouse operations.
- Advanced SAP and Excel skills.
- Sound understanding of modern warehousing practices and inventory management principles.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate, influence, and drive change.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted relationships.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a fast-paced environment.
