Associate Manager, Amazon Insights and Analytics
The Associate Manager, Amazon Insights and Analytics is responsible for transforming complex Amazon datasets into actionable sales strategies. You will own the end-to-end data lifecycle—from pulling large data sets in various data sources to building executive-facing dashboards in Power BI and Excel. Your primary goal is to identify trends in customer behavior, help optimize promotional spend, identifying "white space" in the category and provide actionable insights “the Why” needed to win at the "point of sale" on Amazon to help the sale team to deliver and exceed revenue targets.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role are:

Transform weekly performance data into concise, "executive-ready" performance drivers and drags that explain why sales moved and what the immediate next step should be.

Trend Identification: Highlight emerging consumer search patterns before they become mainstream. Proactively identify "White Space" opportunities, products or sub-categories where the brand is under-indexing compared to the market.

Brand performance: Analyze Amazon Brand Analytics and profitero and Circana data to understand consumer performance and market share performance.

Promotional Effectiveness: Conduct post-event deep dives for tentpole events (e.g., Prime Day, Black Friday) to measure ROI and inform future forecasting, promo depth, and participation. Ensure promotions align with peak consumer demand and brand drive periods.

Competitor Benchmarking: Monitor competitor pricing moves and in-market performance to highlight any action that needs to be taken.

Conversion Optimization: Monitor the "Buy Box" and "Glance Views" to alert the Sales team of any traffic drops or conversion leaks that require immediate action.

Consumer Sentimental Analysis: Monitor review counts and star ratings to provide Sales with feedback on product quality or "Frequently Bought Together" trends.

Trend Identification: Highlight emerging consumer search patterns before they become mainstream. Proactively identify "White Space" opportunities, products or sub-categories where the brand is under-indexing compared to the market.Dashboard Ownership: Design and maintain automated sales reporting frameworks using Power BI, Tableau, excel and any new reporting tools. Build and manage intuitive visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, or excel that allow sales teams to see performance at a glance.

KPI Management: Define and monitor critical metrics, including Topline Sales, Glance Views, Conversion Rate (CR), Subscription, Profitability, and additional priority KPIs

Standardized Reporting: Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews to sales team and key internal stakeholders, highlighting "Wins" and "Opportunities" based on sales volume and market share.

New Item Launches: Create the "Launch Blueprint" for new SKUs, using historical category data to set realistic sales targets and advertising benchmarks.

Track competitor out-of-stock events, pricing, or promotional changes to provide Sales with live-time opportunities/challenges.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required:
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related analytical field.
-
Experience: 2–4+ years in e-commerce analytics, retail, or a CPG environment.

Advanced Excel: Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex data modeling.
-
BI Tools: Proven experience building dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
Preferred:
-
Sales-First Mindset: The ability to see a data point and immediately translate it into a revenue-generating idea.
-
Agility: Comfortable with the fast-paced nature of a sales cycle where data is needed "yesterday."

Experience with third-party Amazon tools (e.g., Pacvue, Helium10, CommerceIQ, Stackline, NielsenIQ, Profitero, or similar tools).

Amazon Fluency: Expertise with Vendor Central. Familiarity with Amazon Marketing Cloud
Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $115-173k. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive program (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..
