Near Term Planner
Focuses on the execution of supply chain activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products. This position involves coordinating logistics, managing inventory, and overseeing transportation processes. Works closely with vendors and internal teams to optimize workflows and address any operational challenges.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Near Term Planner, are to:

Supports the regional inventory management process from marketable status, ensuring oversight of inventory status along with quality features for the corresponding crops and segments;

Ensures the replenishment Information is accurate and available, lead execution of action items and priority changes coming from variations in the plan due to the market and supply constraints through the supply processes by partnering with CY planning Specialist, Sales Ops Team, and other Sales teams;

Supports the planning team members with S&OE activities regarding rough cut capacities of plants and also with logistic team regarding warehousing and freight to ensure the replenishment plan can be met and service level expectations can be achieved;

Support the Near-Term replenishment plan (treat & pack). Including to support the communicate accordingly to cross functional stakeholders on a weekly basis through formal forums, measures progress against the plan, and manages exceptions against established forward coverage targets;

Market Critical Process // Firm Zone: Supports the NTP for analyzed opportunities to resolve supply constraints and/or exceptions via the supply planning escalation methodology;

Analysis of the risks associated and leading business case constructions to find mitigations plans in collaboration with Demand, NTP, FYP;

Support in the evaluation of the Supply Position (Risks & Opportunities) based on global needs;

Working closely and strong collaboration within the SCM unit, Regulatory and Plants (Sites to execute the inventory positioning plan effectively;

Active participant of weekly S&OE meetings. Ensure sharing of supply information and follow up of actions to secure business priorities and financial targets from a supply perspective;

Develop and maintain proper onboarding and training documentation needed for new employees;

Focal point to lead the Continuous improvements and projects in the area;

Constantly review Status quo for changes needed because of external or internal factors affecting current situation;

Ensure participation and development of Customer Service Quality Management (QMS) documentation;
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field;
-
Excellent communications skills;
-
The ability to communicate with different reporting levels in multi-national and cultural organization as an individual or a team;

Reacts quickly to unexpected changes providing direction to the team;

Ability to acclimate to changing responsibilities for self and team;
-
High decision making and problem solving skills;
-
Capability to take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues;
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field with 4+ years of related experience in business functions or any SCM role;
- Experience in seed business;
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $63,040.00 - $94,560.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
