Sr Administrative Assistant
As an Executive Administrative Assistant, you play a vital role in supporting Executive level Managers, General Managers, or department Managers by performing various administrative duties under limited supervision. You will act on your own initiative to handle assignments that involve confidential information, requiring a thorough knowledge of company practices, products, policies, and programs. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the department and facilitating communication and coordination across various functions.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble and analyze information to prepare reports, manuals, agendas, correspondence, and memoranda according to general company practices;
- Establish and maintain departmental databases and develop important spreadsheets for the department;
- Assist in meeting planning and preparation, including drafting agendas and broader communications;
- Coordinate details of departmental meetings and on/off-site conferences and events;
- Prepare materials in final form from rough drafts, utilizing technical terminology and combining materials from several sources;
- Manage business travel arrangements;
- Screen and redirect calls, take messages, and handle mail;
- Coordinate activities across departments and follow up to ensure requests are carried out;
- Process expense reports and payment of invoices;
- Interface with other assistants to share and coordinate workload;
- Cross-train lower-level assistants in the departments;
- Perform additional accountabilities as required.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma;
- Proficiency in PC applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Highly organized and able to work with employees at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience preferred, or an Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $57,147.00 - $85,000 .Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary (or salary range) is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
