GET TO KNOW OUR AREA:

We are GBS – Global Business Services, Bayer's shared services center, located in São José dos Campos – São Paulo. GBS acts as a global strategic hub, supporting different areas of the company. 

At this position, you will be part of a Digital Hub within GBS, supporting R&D functions such as Regulatory Science, Discovery, and Testing for our Crop Protection business. Currently, there are two open positions for this role. 

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Crop Science organization. In this role, you will be responsible for mapping processes and systems, identifying bottlenecks based on performance indicators, and driving portfolio and resource prioritization. Your analytical expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.  

GBS has a global and collaborative scope, offering development opportunities and allowing a broad view of processes and interaction with different areas and sites of Bayer. 

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

• Process Mapping: Lead the mapping of current processes and systems within R&D and Regulatory Science organization to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.  

• Performance Analysis: Analyze performance indicators to pinpoint bottlenecks and constraints in regulatory processes and systems. Provide actionable insights to enhance overall efficiency.  

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including regulatory affairs, project management, and IT, to gather requirements and understand operational challenges.  

• Portfolio Prioritization: Utilize data-driven insights to support portfolio management decisions, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to high-priority projects.  

• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation that outline findings, recommendations, and process improvements. Present insights to leadership and stakeholders.  

• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by proposing and implementing process enhancements and system upgrades that align with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.  

• Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on new processes and system changes, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to best practices.  

ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.  
• Experience business analysis, project support, or a related role, preferably within the regulatory science or pharmaceutical industry.  
• Proven experience in process mapping, performance analysis, and project management.  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.  
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and software (e.g., Visio, Tableau, SQL, or similar).  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.  
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.  
• Demonstrated professionalism, initiative, and foresight in decision-making and task execution.  
• Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to influence and lead within a matrix organization.  
• Availability to work in a hybrid model, with one (1) day per week on-site 
• Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience in data visualization and reporting tools.  
• Strong understanding of systems integration and IT solutions relevant to regulatory processes.

• Advanced / Fluent English
