GET TO KNOW OUR AREA:

Our Compliance department plays a key role in helping Bayer operate with integrity, responsibility, and transparency. Working across teams and regions, the area supports the business on topics such as compliance, data privacy, anticorruption, antitrust and third-party due diligence, while promoting a strong ethical culture and enabling sustainable business decisions.

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

• Provide support to Associates, Senior Associates and Experts on general, recurring questions in Compliance (e.g. Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, Conflict of interest, Code Compliance), including advice on the correct interpretation of LPC (Law Patents and Compliance) related Bayer policies and support Third Party Due Diligence checks and approvals.
• Provide support to Associates, Senior Associates and Experts in Integrated Compliance Management and support Effectiveness Monitoring for certain compliance risk areas.
• Provide Data Privacy consultancy and perform all elements of the global Data Privacy Management System (DPMS) for operational handling.
• Support the roll out and participation in LPC driven web-based training, support LPC driven communication campaigns and advise business and platform functions on organization and responsibilities within LPC.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• This role requires advanced English skills, both written and spoken, as it involves interaction with regional and global stakeholders.
• Additional proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
• Good communication and training skills, also vis-à-vis non-lawyers
• Goal-oriented, hands-on, proactive team player
• Good understanding of foreign cultures, ideally proven by time spent abroad
• Knowledge of Compliance Management Systems is desirable
• Knowledge of anti-corruption, anti-trust, data privacy or laws relevant to the health care or crop science industry helpful
• Willingness to develop in Compliance
• Process and IT affinity
• Good project management skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office and knowledge in handling management tools
