If you’re someone who wants to shape your own path, who values creativity and brings a spirit of innovation – you’ll feel right at home here. Come be part of this journey. Be yourself. We are Bayer.

GET TO KNOW OUR AREA:

We are GBS – Global Business Services, Bayer's shared services center, located in São José dos Campos/SP. GBS acts as a global strategic hub, supporting different areas of the company.

At this position you will be part of a Digital hub in GBS supporting R&D functions as Regulatory Science, Discovery and Testing for our Crop Protection business. Currently, there are four open positions for this role.

The primary responsibilities of Data Engineers include extracting, loading, and transforming data sets from various source systems. This role involves creating and maintaining data pipelines for ingesting data into storage solutions (such as data lakes and warehouses) within a structured framework that encompasses staging, core, and mart layers.

The goal is to maximize the value of the data generated within the R&D and Regulatory landscape.

Data extraction will involve both internal and external data sets, necessitating cloud enabled solutions. The data engineer will function as an individual contributor while collaborating with other global data engineers to ensure consistent processes for maintaining our digital environment.

Additionally, the data engineer will work closely with other digital teams to guarantee that data is readily available for use in data analytics, data visualizations, machine learning, business intelligence, and data simulations.

GBS has a global and collaborative scope, offering development opportunities and allowing a broad view of processes and interaction with different areas and sites of Bayer.
