GET TO KNOW OUR AREA:
We are GBS – Global Business Services, Bayer's shared services center, located in São José dos Campos – São Paulo. GBS acts as a global strategic hub, supporting different areas of the company.
At this position you will be part of a Digital hub in GBS supporting R&D Regulatory Science. Currently, there are two open positions for this role.
This position plays a crucial role in the management of a company's regulatory operations. Their primary purpose is to streamline the operations and logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, achieving this by analyzing and interpreting regulatory data, identifying trends and issues and recommending solutions to improve performance and customer satisfaction. Operations and Logistics Analysts will manage requests, data entry, standardization, connectivity and visualization, track processes, report data for the Global Regulatory Science process and systems.
GBS has a global and collaborative scope, offering development opportunities and allowing a broad view of processes and interaction with different areas and sites of Bayer.
YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:
- Manages and provides operational support for Regulatory processes, systems and databases (e.g. SAP, SharePoint; Literature search; Product Information Guide, Docusign support, internal tracking systems, commercial support, template management, among others)
- Manage systems implementation and maintenance for Regulatory through identification of user requirements, planning and enhancements
- Managing Request of Document tool and execute the creation of requested documents according to available templates
- Documents formatting (redactions) attending country specific requests
- Generate Purchase Orders (PO’s) for goods, services and capital. Manage and track invoices and payments
- Setting up and maintaining vendors in SAP for outside services and capital purchases; monitor and maintain existing PO’s
- Project planning and management related to Regulatory Science third-party contracts and procurement
- Work actively to enhance accuracy and accessibility of data systems within Regulatory
- Provide customer support & training to the Regulatory Sciences Teams and third-party contractors around Procurement and Payments
- Support enablement and identification of system updates; data retention policy adherence and new solutions to foster sustainable and compliant data usage for information management
ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?
- Required
- Experience in Administrative processes
- Ideal candidates are experienced with the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel
- Demonstrate strong competency in using pivot tables, macros, and other data analysis tools to analyze large data sets.
- Demonstrated experience learning IT tools is also highly sought.
- Candidates should be detail-oriented with the ability to recognize how today’s work impacts downstream planning.
- Ability to learn fast number of processes with consistency and attention to detail.
- Commitment to ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Self-starter and be able to work as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
- Fosters a sense of urgency, identifies, and overcomes obstacles.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently and seek help as needed.
- Availability to work in a hybrid model, with one (1) day per week on-site
- Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of science, agriculture, and/or biotechnology processes
- Experience with Visualization tools (Pipeline pilot).
- Experience in data analysis tools such as Spotfire, Tableau, OR SQL; API consumption/development experience.
