Our team is dedicated to providing expert legal counsel in Crop Protection, Regulatory, and Licensing matters, enabling Bayer to navigate legal challenges effectively and sustainably. By fostering strong relationships across the organization, we help protect the company's rights and minimize legal risks, contributing to Bayer's vision of "Health for all, hunger for none," while delivering innovation and sustainability to our clients.

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain legal strategies that support the successful execution of Crop Protection, regulatory and Licensing objectives, ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's business strategies and administrative functions to provide timely and relevant legal advice.
  • Draft and execute agreements and legal documents to support various strategic and operational areas.
  • Establish and maintain an effective procedure for managing civil litigation and administrative proceedings, ensuring accurate tracking of legal spending.
  • Define and propose strategies for legal proceedings, pre-litigation issues, and negotiations.
  • Build effective relationships with key business leaders, partners, and external counsels to enhance collaboration and support.
  • Prepare and deliver legal and compliance training to internal clients within your areas of responsibility.

 

 

ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?

 

Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law with proven experience in law practice, preferably in multinational environments or law firms.
  • Membership in the Bar Association (OAB).
  • Advanced in English (writing, reading, speaking).
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and a strong personal reputation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and hold accountability.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with proven business acumen.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Availability for occasional travel.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in developing litigation strategies in high technology environments.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proven negotiation skills and the ability to build trustworthy relationships.
  • Specialization in contracts or business law.
  • Previous experience with matters related to Life Sciences.
