The Digital Agriculture organization is focused on generating tangible value for both farmers and Bayer Crop Science through the integration of science, data, and digital solutions.
On one side, this translates into value creation in the field, enhancing yields, reducing waste, and mitigating risks—while promoting sustainable and regenerative practices.
On the other, it involves value capture for the business, transforming the impact of digital solutions into measurable financial outcomes.
In Brazil, Digital Agriculture plays a critical role as a transformation engine, connecting technology, data, and customer experience to scale solutions such as FieldView and a broader integrated digital portfolio
YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:
As the Head of Business Operations for Digital Agriculture, you will be responsible for scaling digital solutions across Brazil, ensuring high levels of customer engagement and delivering on the financial commitments defined in the Strategic Business Plan.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accelerate the digital transformation of agriculture in Brazil, driving a cultural shift in how farmers make decisions throughout the crop season, positioning digital insights as their primary technical reference.
- Scale mature digital programs, leveraging a purpose-driven innovation portfolio to unlock business value.
- Expand and strengthen the FieldView customer base, increasing engagement and generating new business opportunities.
- Ensure excellence in data management, including data acquisition, organization, and success-case development, building a strong foundation to scale digital solutions.
- Integrate Digital Agriculture with Customer Experience and Go-to-Market strategies, driving growth, improving customer experience, and increasing operational efficiency.
- Develop and enhance Analytics and BI capabilities, leveraging data and performance metrics to assess effectiveness, reduce churn, and improve the end-to-end customer journey.
- Partner with global product and engineering teams, providing strategic feedback to shape product evolution aligned with customer needs
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of autonomy, accountability, collaboration, and continuous development.
ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Solid experience in business leadership and people management
- Solid experienvie as a senior Leader (Director or Senior Manager) in the Agribusiness
- Strong experience managing stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments
- Solid agricultural business acumen with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and drive decisions in ambiguous and evolving contexts
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Fluent English is required and Spanish is a plus
