Latam Costs Specialist / Crop Science (PS) / São Paulo - SP

Financial planning department encompasses strategic processes such as financial production planning, S&OP, inventory management, LATAM regional consolidation, forecasting, and budgeting. It furnishes crucial information for leadership decision-making, playing a significant role in the profit and loss statement with notable representation and active participation.

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

• Create substantial value and make meaningful contributions to stakeholders by actively assuming the role of business partners. This involves conducting comprehensive analyses of production plans and SOP financial data, covering crucial elements such as production plans, inventories, and obsolescence within the Row Crop Business in the LATAM region. Standardize financial models and refine decision-making analyses to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Actively participate in the production plan activities providing all relevant support and analyses to the production and supply chain areas for swift and accurate decision-making support Senior Leadership in provide Finance Recommendations;
• Coordinate the Budget process for the LATAM region, establishing guidelines, calendars, controls, and key process dates along with regional consolidation and all necessary pre-alignments for smooth and successful completion of mid-term strategic planning activities;
• Monitor and develop, alongside the commercial finance team, the pricing and cost process for each year's sales campaign, providing support through financial and strategic analysis of cost evolution based on updated production plan outputs;
• Participate in S&OP working group performing analysis and tracking KPIs; - Support the development of Regional Financial Evaluation Standard model and owns system enhancements regarding S&OP and Budget processes;
• Act as the focal point for the Inventory and Obsolescence process, ensuring the progression of provisions and reversals, while tracking cost evolution alongside production and Supply Chain teams to ensure accuracy and alignment within the areas;
• Work closely with Cost Cluster leads to provide early warnings about risks and opportunities related to Production Season Evolution, Inventories and Obsolescence;
• Support the development of Regional Financial Evaluation Standard model Reconcile Production Plan and Actual performance of the main production KPIs;
• Lead and develop the intern within the department, overseeing deliveries related to processes and the internship project.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?

Must-have-Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or Engineering

• Solid experience in different areas of Finance. Previous experience in FP&A and Controllership.
• Analytical Skills;

• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Portuguese (written and spoken). Expected to participate in forums where these 2 languages will be used exclusively.

Nice – to have – Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish (written and spoken);
• Pos-Graduation in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or Engineering.
